Connecting to Monyog
In this section it is assumed that Monyog is installed and running. We
will now connect to it from a browser. Start your browser and enter:
http://host:port. The host can be:
- An ip address (like "10.0.0.1")
- The host name of the system, or
- An alias being read from the local host-file (like
localhost). "port" will be the port that you or your Sys Admin specified when installing Monyog. By deafult, Monyog UI can be accessed on port 5555.
Managing multiple servers
Single instance of Monyog is capable of monitoring hundreds of MySQL servers. With tagging, you can categorize your servers into logical groups, and avoid clutter.
You will be able to register as many servers as your Monyog license allows for. The TRIAL can register up to 1000 servers. Also with Monyog installations registered with an 'UNLIMITED' license you can register up to 1000 servers. Should some customers having an 'unlimited' license want to register more please contact us by sending a mail to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will provide a special build for you at no cost.
Monyog has an option to auto-register slaves. Please refer Replication Settings in Advanced Settings for more details.
